Surfing at Playa Grande: a unique natural experience
Our surf lessons take place at Playa Grande, a sandy-bottom beach located between two protected nature reserves near Montezuma.
Access is by a scenic 30–40 minute walk along the coastline, through shaded trails and ocean views.
Along the way, it’s common to see wildlife such as monkeys, birds, and tropical vegetation.
This walk is part of the experience:
Slowing down
Disconnecting from busy travel schedules
Connecting with nature before entering the ocean
This is not a quick-access beach — it’s a more immersive experience, and for many people, one of the highlights of their trip.
